Aren't sure if you would like sailing? Sailing is a great and fulfilling pursuit, but sometimes you just don’t know how to begin. Discover Sailing class, led by an experienced sailing instructor aboard a stable keelboat. These classes let you get a taste of learning sailing in a safe and fun way.

Intro to Sailing

Using our innovative exclusive proprietary teaching techniques that makes sailing easier and more fun, you will learn the basics of crewing and helming a keelboat 22 ft or longer, trim the sails for different points of sail, boat safety and right of way. Also, learn boat parts, sailing theory as well as raising the main and unfurling/furling the jib plus more. The course includes a maximum amount of time on the water and includes 10 pages of illustrated course materials.

Intro to Sailing - Part 2

Starting with your knowledge from Part 1 learn trim the sails more precisely for the different points of sail, boat safety and right of way. Also, learn additional boat parts, reefing sails, knots for sailors plus more intermediate knowledge. With a maximum amount of time on the water. With a goal of captaining your own boat by crewing and helming without help. The course includes a maximum amount of time on the water and includes 10 pages of illustrated course materials.
